Natural Gas Futures Prices Steady Ahead of Final Trading Session

Natural gas futures prices were steady but slightly higher on Wednesday ahead of the August contract's last trading session before rolling off the board.

The August New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) natural gas futures contract rose by 2.0 cents to $2.682/MMBtu around noon ET, while the September contract increased by 2.5 cents to $2.726.

Traders were reportedly considering evolving weather forecasts and supply strength as they made their decisions.
