Natural Gas Futures Rebound on Hotter Forecasts, Rising LNG Feedgas
Natural gas futures rebounded on Monday after five consecutive weeks of losses due to hotter weekend weather forecasts, strong power-sector demand, and rising LNG feedgas.
The US Energy Information Administration reported that LNG feedgas topped 18.5 Bcf/d, providing additional support for natural gas prices.
However, the storage surplus limited the upside in natural gas futures, which surged early Monday after the weekend weather models added heat to the outlook.
