Natural Gas Prices Stalled Near $3.00 Amid Weak Demand

Natural gas prices have stalled near $3.00 as demand for the fuel fades this time of year.

The market initially rallied on Friday but quickly gave back gains, showing signs of hesitation.

This is not surprising given that it's hot, but not heatwave-hot in the United States, and there are no concerns about heating demand.

Natural gas futures are trading around $2.739, below the 3.000 level and holding under both the 50-day and 200-day EMAs on TradingView.

If prices do rally, they may face significant trouble at the 50-day EMA near $3.00, which could cause headaches if momentum picks up.
