Natural Gas Prices Surge on Declining US Output and LNG Exports Rise
Natural gas prices have risen by 3.26% to ₹278.4 due to declining US output and increased liquefied natural gas exports, according to Kedia Advisory.
The average daily production in the Lower 48 regions of the US has reached a record 113.4 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) so far in September, but is expected to decline to a two-week low of 112.8 bcfd.
Warmer-than-normal weather through September 29 is supporting gas consumption by power generators, with gas-fired plants accounting for around 40% of US power generation.
