Natural Gas Trade Volume Plummets in Türkiye's Spot Market

The spot market for natural gas in Türkiye saw a decrease of 13.3% on Wednesday, according to data from the Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST). The total trade volume dropped to around 11.7 million Turkish liras. This comes after Tuesday's trade amount reached about 13.5 million liras.

The price of 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas on the spot market stood at 17,191.11 Turkish liras. The cumulative natural gas trade volume was around 679,000 cubic meters. Türkiye received approximately 79.56 million cubic meters of gas on Wednesday.
