The price of gold in Nepal's market has surged significantly by Rs 9,300 per tola on Thursday.
Fine gold is now being traded at Rs 313,400 per tola, up from Rs 304,100 the previous day according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.
The price of silver has also increased by Rs 260 per tola with a new rate of Rs 4,855 per tola compared to Rs 4,595 on Wednesday.
