Nepal Gold Prices Tumble, Silver Stabilizes
The price of gold has taken a hit in Nepal's domestic market, dropping by Rs 1,000 per tola on Wednesday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, fine gold is now trading at Rs 283,200 per tola, down from Tuesday's rate of Rs 284,200 per tola.
On the other hand, silver has seen a modest increase in price, rising by Rs 10 per tola to reach Rs 4,320 per tola. The Federation notes that gold prices had been trading at Rs 288,500 per tola just yesterday and silver at Rs 4,445 per tola.
In the international market, gold is currently trading around US$3,429 per ounce, while silver is hovering at approximately US$38.57 per ounce.
