Nepal LP Gas Shortage Eases as Imports and Distribution Improve
The recent LP gas shortage in Nepal has started to ease after imports from India increased and distribution improved.
Nepal Oil Corporation reported that with the distribution of 14.2 kg gas cylinders since July 15, it resulted in a shortage due to the redistribution process.
Director at LP gas department Binitamani Upadhyay said there were some initial disruptions but the situation is now getting better and the corporation has intensified the supply to meet consumer demand.
