Nepal Oil Corporation Ensures Fuel Supplies Amid Road Disruption

Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has ensured alternative routes to supply fuel and LP gas in the Kathmandu Valley and adjoining districts following a road disruption due to flooding in the Trishuli river.

The Krishnabhir section of Prithvi Highway was obstructed this morning, prompting concerns about cooking gas supplies. After interacting with LP gas industrialists, NOC decided to coordinate among industries in Bara, Parsa, Chitwan, Makawanpur, Nawalparasi, and other districts to refill cylinders.

The NOC has also ensured a supply system through alternative routes for distribution of cooking gas in Kathmandu and the adjoining districts by keeping LP gas cylinders in trucks until the road along Krishnabhir resumes.
