Nepal's Gold Prices Plummet by Rs 5,800 Per Tola Amid Global Market Volatility
Gold prices in Nepal have taken a significant hit, plummeting by Rs 5,800 per tola compared to Thursday's prices. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, gold is now trading at Rs 285,500 per tola.
This decline comes after international reports indicated that gold was trading at USD 4,045 per ounce on Friday, while silver was priced at USD 57 per ounce in the global market. In contrast, gold was traded at Rs 291,300 per tola and silver at Rs 4,505 per tola just a day ago.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association has fixed the current prices for both precious metals. The association's data suggests that silver is trading at Rs 4,350 per tola on Friday, down from its previous price of Rs 4,480 per tola on Wednesday.
