Nifty Falls Below 24k as Brent Crude Crosses $100 Amid Rising Global Tensions
The Indian stock market declined for the fifth consecutive session on July 24, 2026, with Nifty falling by 102.15 points to 23,767.45 and Sensex plummeting 331.62 points to 76,059.77.
The decline was largely attributed to Brent crude oil prices surging past $100 a barrel following fresh attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.
Weak global cues from Wall Street, disappointing earnings from Tesla and Alphabet, and rising US bond yields further added to the pressure.
