Nigeria Crude Oil Production Hits 1.68m bpd in August
Nigeria's crude oil production continued its upward trend in August 2026, averaging 1.68 million barrels per day (bpd), a modest 0.4% increase from July.
The country met its OPEC quota for the fourth consecutive month, producing 1.5 million bpd of crude oil, excluding condensates.
The production update was attributed to the resolution of operational challenges at the Erha field, which had negatively affected output in previous months.
