Nigeria Crude Output Dips Again Amid OPEC Surge
Nigeria's crude oil production declined for the second consecutive month in August 2026, despite other OPEC members increasing their output.
According to OPEC's September Monthly Oil Market Report, Nigeria produced 1.50 million barrels per day in August, down from 1.505mbpd in July.
This marks a decline of 55,000bpd over the three-month stretch from June to August, with Nigeria staying within its OPEC-assigned quota for the month.
