Nigeria Meets OPEC Quota Again, Exceeds Target by 12% in July 2026
Nigeria has exceeded its OPEC quota for the third consecutive month, producing 1.67 million barrels per day in July 2026.
The country's daily average production was 1.505 million barrels of crude oil and 0.17 million barrels of condensate, according to statistics from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).
This marks a slight decline from June's production, which fell by four percent on a month-on-month basis.
The NUPRC attributed the drop in production to operational challenges at the Erha and Akpo fields, which impacted output during the period under review.
