Nigeria Meets OPEC Quota with Record Crude Oil Production
Nigeria's crude oil and condensate production rose to 1.677 million barrels per day in August, up by 0.4% from July's 1.670 million barrels per day.
The country met its OPEC quota for the fourth consecutive month, producing an average of 1.5 million barrels per day, excluding condensate production.
The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) attributed the improvement to the resolution of Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) operational challenges at the Erha field, which had affected production performance in July.
