Nigeria's Accord Party Candidate Vows to Boost Crude Oil Production by 160%

Nigeria's Accord Party presidential candidate, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has unveiled his plan to increase the country's crude oil production to four million barrels per day within 24 months.

The proposal is centered around an investment program to revive about 3,000 currently non-producing oil wells and return them to productive operation.

According to Hashim, Nigeria's current crude oil production of approximately 1.5 million barrels per day represents a significant opportunity for growth, but the country must first address its wasted productive capacity.
