Nigeria's Crude Oil Output Sees Modest Rise Amid Operational Improvements

Nigeria's crude oil and condensate production saw a modest increase in August, rising by 0.4% to 1,677,777 barrels per day (bpd), according to the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).

The commission reported that crude oil production, excluding condensates, averaged 1,500,190 bpd during the month under review.

Nigeria met its Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) crude oil quota for the fourth consecutive month, thanks in part to the resolution of operational challenges at the Erha field, which had affected production performance in the preceding month.
