Nigeria's oil exports surged to N12.91 trillion in the second quarter of 2026, accounting for 47.79% of total exports.

The increase is largely due to a rise in global oil prices, which have soared to $98 per barrel following the ongoing US/Iran war in the Gulf region.

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has been appointed by the Federal Government to protect Nigeria's oil assets in the Niger Delta region and ensure peace and stability.

The company recently contracted a hi-tech security firm, Textron Systems, to deliver three uncrewed aircraft that will enhance its surveillance operations on Nigeria's oil pipelines.
