Nigeria's Oil Output Plunges by 37,000 bpd in July
Nigeria's oil output declined by 37,000 barrels per day to 1.546 million bpd in July 2026, according to OPEC.
The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries reported a 2.3% month-on-month reduction in Nigeria's crude oil production.
OPEC's data showed that Nigeria's production rose from an average of 1.453 million bpd in the first quarter of 2026 to 1.552 million bpd in the second quarter.
However, production figures reported through direct communication by OPEC member countries showed an even sharper decline, with Nigeria's output falling by 50,000 bpd from 1.555 million bpd in June to 1.505 million bpd in July 2026.
