Nigeria's Oil Production Slips by 4% to 1.505m bpd in July

Nigeria's oil production dropped by 4% to 1.505m bpd in July, according to the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission.

The decline interrupted a steady rise in production recorded during the first six months of the year, with combined crude and condensate output averaging 1.67 million bpd in July.

The NUPRC attributed the July decline mainly to operational challenges affecting production at the Erha and Akpo fields, which constrained production volumes and contributed significantly to the overall reduction in national crude oil output.
