Nigeria's Petroleum Sector Sees Significant Turnaround Under Current Administration
The Nigerian petroleum sector is experiencing a significant turnaround under the current administration, according to Dele Olaseni, Chairman of Nigerians for Good Governance.
Olaseni defended the Federal Government's reforms in the industry, citing increased crude oil production, renewed investor interest, and fresh Final Investment Decisions as evidence that the administration is repositioning the sector.
The petroleum sector has seen a significant increase in crude oil production, rising from about 900,000 barrels per day to approximately 1.87 million barrels per day since the current administration took office.
