NLNG Exports Over 6,000 LNG Cargoes, Earns $150bn Revenue
Nigeria LNG Limited has generated over $150 billion in revenue and exported more than 6,000 liquefied natural gas cargoes worldwide since its inception.
The company's managing director, Adeleye Falade, revealed this during a briefing where he also highlighted NLNG's growth plans, including the completion of Train 7 and early discussions around Trains 8, 9, and 10.
NLNG purchases gas from upstream producers, processes it, liquefies it, transports it through specialized vessels, and markets it to buyers globally. The company operates six liquefaction trains with a production capacity of 22 million tonnes per annum and owns a fleet of 22 dedicated vessels.
Falade stated that NLNG has paid over $47.2 billion in dividends to shareholders, remitted more than $10 billion in taxes to the Federal Government, and built an asset base valued at about $23 billion.
