Nigeria LNG Ltd. (NLNG) is expanding its production capacity by 35% through the Train 7 project, aimed at solidifying Nigeria's position in the global liquefied natural gas market.

The expansion will increase NLNG's output to 30 million tonnes per year from 22 million, while adding roughly 250,000 tonnes annually of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to the domestic market, a nearly 50% increase.

NLNG Managing Director Adeleye Falade emphasized that Train 7 is not just about additional production capacity but also reflects Nigeria's confidence in its gas potential and commitment to creating long-term value through increased exports and stronger domestic gas supply.
