NORPETCO Logs Record Production, Invests Heavily in FY 2025/26
North Bahariya Petroleum Company (NORPETCO), an Egyptian oil exploration and production company, has reported significant achievements in its fiscal year 2025/26. The company drilled 13 wells and produced 12,700 barrels per day (b/d) during this period.
NORPETCO's Chairman Ahmed Salah highlighted the company's balanced performance, which was achieved by maximizing operational efficiency, accelerating drilling and development activities, and rationalizing capital and operating expenditures. This approach enabled the company to maintain high safety and environmental sustainability standards.
The company completed 28 well maintenance and enhancement operations, made two new exploration discoveries in the Abu Rawash area, and generated financial savings through cost- and energy-efficiency initiatives. NORPETCO also commissioned an 800-kilowatt (kW) solar power system at its camp.
