North Dakota Oil Production Hits Record High
North Dakota's oil production surged in June, reaching a new high of 1,153,000 barrels per day (bpd), according to data released by the state Industrial Commission. This marks an increase of 28,000 bpd compared to May's numbers.
The Bakken and Three Forks formations, which are major oil-producing regions in North Dakota, contributed to this growth with combined production reaching 1,126,000 bpd in June.
