Northern Arc Ports Dominate Brazil's Corn Exports in First Half of 2026
The Northern Arc ports in Brazil have become a major hub for corn exports, handling 46.12% of the country's total shipments between January and July 2026.
This represents a significant increase from the same period last year, with national corn exports rising by 10.53% to reach 9.8 million tons.
The Northern Arc ports have gained market share at the expense of traditional export hubs in the South and Southeast regions, which had historically concentrated nearly half of Brazil's corn exports.
