Northern Star Resources reported strong earnings growth in its FY26 results, driven by higher gold prices. The company's revenue increased 19% to A$7.6 billion, while underlying NPAT rose 26% to A$1.8 billion.

The average realised gold price surged 26% to A$4,925 per ounce, offsetting a 6% decline in gold sold to 1.54Moz. However, free cash flow and underlying free cash flow fell sharply due to increased capital expenditure on growth projects.

Northern Star commenced an A$500 million on-market buy-back and declared a fully franked final dividend of 30 cents per share. The company also expects significant investment in FY27, with group gold sold forecast at 1.50-1.65Moz.
