Norway Sees Slight Decline in July Oil Production
The Norwegian Offshore Directorate has released preliminary production figures for July 2026. According to the data, an average daily production of 1,976,000 barrels of oil, NGL, and condensate was recorded in July. This is a 2.1% decrease from the directorate's forecast for oil production in the month.
Total gas sales were 10.9 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is an increase of 0.9 (GSm3) compared to the previous month.
The total petroleum production so far in 2026 stands at approximately 142.8 million Sm3 oil equivalents (MSm3 o.e.), broken down into 63.2 MSm3 o.e. of oil, 7.0 MSm3 o.e. of NGL and condensate, and 72.6 MSm3 o.e. of gas for sale.
