NYMEX Natural Gas Futures See-Saw Amid Supply-Demand Tensions
Natural gas futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) were volatile in late morning trading on Friday, as traders weighed a lean storage print against forecasts for solid weather demand and high total supply levels.
The September contract shed 4.0 cents to $2.718 per million British thermal units (MMBtu) around 11:45 a.m. ET.
Despite the slight decline, benchmark spot prices also slipped in morning action.
