NYMEX Posts Precious Metals Prices for August 3
The NYMEX, a US futures market founded in 1882, has released its precious metals prices for August 3. According to the report, gold futures are up by 0.20% to $4057.00 per troy ounce (31.1 grams), while silver futures have increased by 0.14% to $57.67. Platinum futures, however, saw a decline of 0.27% to $1654.20.
The NYMEX has two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division. The former handles trades for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the latter is responsible for gold, silver, copper, and aluminum trades.
