NYMEX Precious Metals Prices Climb on July 29th
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has reported an increase in precious metals prices for July 29th. The price of gold futures rose by 0.95% to $4056.00, while silver futures increased by 1.03% to $57.89. Platinum futures also saw a slight gain, up by 0.49% to $1607.30.
The measurement unit for these prices is 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams). NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882 and operates through two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division.
The NYMEX Division handles trades of oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the COMEX Division focuses on gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
