NYMEX Precious Metals Prices Decline Across the Board
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) released its latest precious metals prices for August 26, showing a decline across all categories.
Gold futures saw a decrease of 0.86% to $4598.20 per troy ounce, while silver futures dropped by 1.90% to $67.99. Platinum futures also declined by 0.90% to $1859.20.
The NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882, operating two divisions: the NYMEX Division for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions; and the COMEX Division for gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
