NYMEX Precious Metals Prices See Increase on August 17
New York's NYMEX (New York Merchantile Exchange) has reported an increase in precious metals prices for August 17. The price of gold futures is up by 0.51% to $4396.40, while silver futures have risen by 1.74% to $66.12. Platinum futures also saw a growth, increasing by 0.30% to $1762.00. The measurement unit for these prices is 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams). NYMEX has two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division. The first division handles trades of oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the second one deals with gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
