NYMEX Precious Metals Prices See Uptick on September 9
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has seen an uptick in prices for precious metals on September 9. The price of gold futures is up by 0.56% to $4418.30, while silver futures have increased by 2.47% to $67.94.
The price of platinum futures has also risen, with a gain of 2.81% to $1892.40. Each measurement is based on one troy ounce (31.1 grams).
NYMEX was founded in 1882 and operates through two divisions: the NYMEX Division, which handles trades for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions; and the COMEX Division, which focuses on gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
