NYMEX Precious Metals Prices Surge on August 5
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has released its latest precious metals prices. On August 5, gold futures saw a significant increase of 3.33% to $4267.00 per troy ounce, while silver futures also rose by 3.40% to $62.10. In contrast, platinum futures experienced a minor decline of 0.21% to $1765.90.
The NYMEX has two divisions: the NYMEX Division and the COMEX Division. The former handles trades for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, while the latter focuses on gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
