NYMEX Prices Show Mixed Performance for Precious Metals
The New York Merchantile Exchange (NYMEX) has released its latest precious metals prices for September 7. According to the NYMEX, gold futures are down by 0.65% to $4401.10 per troy ounce, while silver futures are up by 0.21% to $66.19. Platinum futures have seen a significant increase of 0.78% to $1840.20.
The NYMEX is a US futures market founded in 1882 and currently operates two divisions: the NYMEX Division, which handles trades of oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions; and the COMEX Division, which focuses on gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
