NYMEX Sees Rise in Precious Metals Prices on August 20
The NYMEX exchange has reported an increase in precious metals prices for August 20. The price of gold futures rose by 0.52% to $4516.30 per troy ounce, while silver futures saw a significant gain of 3.50% to $68.03 per troy ounce. Platinum futures also increased by 3.46% to $1879.60 per troy ounce.
The NYMEX exchange is a US futures market founded in 1882 and operates two divisions: the NYMEX Division for oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, and the COMEX Division for gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
