NYMEX Sees Uptick in Precious Metals Prices on July 29
New York's NYMEX exchange reported an uptick in precious metals prices on July 29. The price of gold futures rose by 0.95% to $4056.00, while silver futures increased by 1.03% to $57.89. Platinum futures also saw a gain, up by 0.49% to $1607.30.
The measurement unit for these prices is the troy ounce, with one ounce equivalent to 31.1 grams. The NYMEX exchange has two divisions: the NYMEX Division, which handles trades in oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions, and the COMEX Division, which deals with gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
