OGRA Slashes LNG Prices in Pakistan by Up to 27.71 Percent
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has made a significant move in reducing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) prices in Pakistan. The regulatory body announced a price cut of up to 27.71 percent, impacting the Sui Northern and Sui Southern systems.
The reduction in LNG prices is substantial, with the Sui Northern system seeing a decrease of $6.81 per MMBtu, bringing the rate down from $25.84 to $19.03 per MMBtu. Similarly, the Sui Southern system has been reduced by $6.95 per MMBtu, lowering the price from $25.08 to $18.13 per MMBtu.
The revised rates have taken immediate effect following the issuance of the notification, aiming to provide relief to consumers in Pakistan.
