OIC Slams US Attack on Iranian Oil Tanker as 'Cowardly' Breach of Law
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Mission has condemned the US attack on an Iranian oil tanker, calling it 'cowardly' and a breach of international law. The mission criticized the US Central Command's (CENTCOM) statement justifying the attack as an 'admission of full responsibility' for the brutal crimes committed during the war of aggression against Iran.
The OIC Mission pointed out that if the US can claim precision in attacking oil tankers, it should also be held accountable for targeting civilians and civilian sites. The mission referred to specific examples, including an elementary school in Minab, a sports club in Lamerd, and a wedding ceremony in Kuhestak.
The OIC Mission accused CENTCOM of hypocrisy, saying that the US cannot use 'precision' when it suits them but blame 'mistakes' for civilian casualties. The mission reminded the US that such actions have consequences and will not be tolerated.
