Oil Price Rise Driven by Disruptions from Iran-US Tensions
The oil market is on track for its first weekly loss this year despite simmering tensions between Iran and the US. The increase in global crude oil prices was largely due to supply disruptions caused by the ongoing conflict.
OGDC, a key player in the energy sector, saw its price rise by 2.37% to $326.25, while PPL, another major player, increased by 1.04% to $238.67.
On the other hand, CNERGY and SSGC decreased by 0.37% and 0.82%, respectively.
