Oil Price Uncertainty Looms Over Ryanair's Airfare Outlook

Ryanair CEO Michael O'Leary has warned of a significant increase in airfares if oil prices remain high into next year. Speaking ahead of the airline's AGM, O'Leary stated that 'if oil prices remain high into next year, I think there will be a significant uplift in airfares, and we would hope to avoid that.'

O'Leary also mentioned that the outlook for ticket prices for the coming months is 'entirely up in the air', indicating uncertainty about future price movements. However, he did note that pricing is expected to be 'very modestly down' in the second quarter of next year.
