Oil Prices Climb Amid August 18th Trade

Oil prices have seen an increase on August 18th. The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) Crude Oil, also known as Light Sweet, price at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) Stock Exchange rose by 0.35% to $85.61 per barrel.

Meanwhile, the Brent Crude Oil price at London's Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) Stock Exchange saw a smaller increase of 0.10%, reaching $91.64 per barrel.

The NYMEX and ICE are two prominent stock exchanges that deal with oil futures trading. The NYMEX is one of the oldest, founded in 1882, and is currently ranked first in oil futures trade.
