Oil Prices Climb to New Heights Amid Strong Demand
Oil prices continue to rise on Tuesday trading, according to recent market data. As of 09:40, the November Brent crude futures contract on ICE Futures Europe has increased by $1.04 (1.15%) to $91.53 per barrel.
This represents a gain of 2.71% from the close of trading on August 31, when the contract had risen to $90.49 per barrel. The price hike comes as global demand for oil remains strong, with many analysts pointing to ongoing economic growth and limited supply chain disruptions as key drivers.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of the October WTI crude futures contract has also increased, rising by $0.69 (0.80%) to $86.45 per barrel as of 09:40. This marks a gain of 2.83% from August 31's close, when the contract had risen to $85.76 per barrel.
