Oil prices have fallen as hopes rise for normalizing vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.

In related news, Iran and Oman announced an agreement on August 26 to share revenues from securing shipping in the Strait of Hormuz with representatives from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
