Oil Prices Ease, U.S. Stocks Rebound Amid Fed Rate Hike Expectations
U.S. stocks rebounded on September 11, clawing back much of their losses for the week after oil prices eased off their recent surge.
The S&P 500 jumped 1.1% and was on track to break a four-day losing streak, its longest since June.
An update on inflation across the United States came in close to economists' expectations, helping calm the market.
The price for a barrel of Brent crude, the international standard, fell 3% to $104.42 after getting near $110 overnight.
