Oil Prices Extend Winning Streak on Supply Uncertainty
Oil prices continued their upward trend on Wednesday, marking a fourth consecutive day of gains. The increase was driven by uncertainty over global oil supplies.
Brent crude futures rose 26 cents, or 0.29%, to $91.28 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures climbed 37 cents to $85.31 a barrel.
The prices had reached their highest levels since July 24 on Tuesday and maintained this trend in early trade on Wednesday.
