Oil Prices Fall as Wall Street Stocks End Week on Mixed Note
Wall Street stocks ended the week on a mixed note as oil prices took their first decline in a week.
The S&P 500 barely budged, rising just 3.68 points to 7,411.98, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 235.60 points to 51,947.25.
However, the Nasdaq fell 161.87 points to 24,975.82, weighed down by losses from tech stocks such as Micron Technology and Broadcom.
The decline in oil prices was attributed to ongoing concerns about the impact of escalating tensions in the Middle East on global energy supplies.
