Oil Prices Fall on Israel-Lebanon Ceasefire Hopes
Oil prices fell on Thursday after a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon raised hopes for a broader deal to end the US-Israeli war with Iran.
The ceasefire, which is expected to come into force within 24 hours of all parties approving it, could lead to a reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
US President Donald Trump suggested on Wednesday that progress in negotiations with Iran could be made as soon as this weekend.
