Oil Prices Near $100 Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions
Oil prices are once again nearing an unwelcome milestone as Brent crude rises back to nearly $100 per barrel.
The surge in oil prices comes amid new hostilities in the US-Iran war, with Iran-aligned Houthi militants hitting Saudi Aramco facilities and injuring over 70 people.
The Dow futures slid early Tuesday by more than 400 points, or about 0.8%, as a result of the rising energy costs.
